Hello Dear ones!

Last time we discussed about WHAT IS A HORMONE.

If you didn’t get a chance to check out the earlier blog , please do it here .

Dr Disha Sridhar

I am a Gynaecologist Obstetrician ( MD, DNB OBGYN )with an emphasis on INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE.

In this blog I want to talk about another important women’s hormone topic: How does our menstrual cycle work? What are the main Hormones involved in your period cycle and how do they change over the course of monthly cycle.

Do you know which beautiful feminine hormones are involved in reproduction? Well if you don’t, let me tell you: FSH, LH, Estrogen, Progesterone & Testosterone. Sound familiar?

In this video, I’ll explain the function of each of our sex Hormones and how do they change over the month. What happens in the ovaries, comprised of the hormones FSH and LH (“group 1”). What happens in the uterus, ovaries and pituitary gland.

You will learn how these Hormones change and why PMS is not you going crazy but a sign of Hormone imbalance. How Hormone imbalance is related to period problems.

Watch the below video….

Even if you already know this stuff or your period stopped years ago or you had a hysterectomy… watch anyway!

This Is Basic Information… And Then We Can Move On To The Topic Of Aging, PERIMENOPAUSE And Hormone Imbalance!

Oh, and if you haven’t taken my HORMONE IMBALANCE Questionnaire, consider doing so now. This very quick and easy quiz will give you a snapshot of your hormonal health.

QUIZ TIME! Take my Questionnaire to understand your bodies changes better.
In 5 minutes flat, you’ll get a score ,where lower is better, that represents an assessment of your sexual health. Once you know your starting number, it’s much easier to improve.

I wonder what YOUR starting number will be?

Cheers to all the mothers!

Love

Dr. Disha
